Bio

Jay Donaldson is a stand-up comedian and improv performer currently living in Denver, Colorado. He enjoys performing at Comedy Works, The Comedy Fort, Rise Comedy, Denver Comedy Underground, Rion Evans Presents Comedy, as well as clubs, bars, restaurants, and events all over the greater Denver area.

Jay brings his personality to the stage in a way that connects with people of all ages, backgrounds, and criminal history.

Spawned in Parma, Ohio, and raised in the outskirts of Chicago (in Vernon Hills, Illinois), Jay spent many years on the move. He has lived in California, Minnesota, Ohio, Illinois, Florida, and Colorado. He has traveled throughout the United States and Canada, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, England, Germany, Luxembourg, and Scotland. His first appearance as a Comedian was at the Voodoo Comedy Playhouse (now Rise Comedy) located in Denver, Colorado.

Jay shares a home base with a 65-pound Sheepadoodle, a Tortoiseshell cat, stop-and-go visits from his adult children, and a wife that works with predatory birds and bee-hives. His life experience is broad, and his family experience is deep – both of which make their way into his humor on stage.
